Designed by Maurizio Galimberti for the 25th anniversary of the artist cup collection. This special illy Art Collection cup, signed by Maurizio Galimberti, is dedicated to Trieste, representing the city’s historic sailing race, the Barcolana. It is inspired by the mosaic poster created by the artist for the event. The sails of the racing boats transform into white pieces, forming an emotional script on the porcelain surface. The celebration of the long-standing collaboration between illy and Maurizio Galimberti takes place in Trieste, Europe’s leading coffee port and illy’s historic home.
